Receipts = gas entering (supply); deliveries = gas leaving on-system (demand). Throughput sums mainline flow-forward/-reverse meters, which count the same gas at each segment along the route — so for a line pipe it reads several × the real flow (e.g. MVP's 5 segments). Read receipts/deliveries for clean supply/demand; treat throughput as a shape, not a level. Deliveries can be ~0 when a pipe's offtake is recorded on the downstream pipeline it feeds. Storage stocks (linepack/inventory) are excluded.
